There is a tactic that is quite effective in subduing your opponent. The Cambridge Dictionary defines this tactic this way: to surprise someone, usually with harmful results. The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines this tactic this way: to hit unexpectedly; to surprise unpleasantly. Ever since sin entered our world, there is a war that wages on continually in the spiritual realm. While one side, the good side, doesn’t use tactics to subdue, the other side is all about it.
The good side uses love to redeem. The evil side blindsides you with a false goodness, then when you are drawn in, you find yourself in a very dark place unable to see and hear clearly.
The good side is Jesus Christ. God sent Him to us because He loves us and He hates the idea of having to be separated from us due to our rebellion; see Genesis 3:23. In the most purest love ever, Jesus became our Redeemer from evil. He took our sins upon Himself and allowed death to swallow Him up. What happened next is quite extraordinary. Jesus resurrected from the dead and broke the sting of death! Read about His amazing love in redeeming His children in the four gospels; Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
Because of the resurrection, no matter how deep into darkness you go, you can always be drawn out and restored by Christ’s love, mercy, and grace. You cannot get out on your own though. Only God can take you from the evil side and place you on a firm foundation which is Jesus Himself.
“Anyone who listens to My teaching and follows it is wise like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock. But anyone who hears My teaching and doesn’t obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.” (Matthew 7:24-27)
You must humble yourself and repent of your rebellion towards God and turn to His Son and obey. When you do, you will find yourself in the presence of Christ while inheriting eternal life. You will also inherit every treasure found in heaven, given freely at your disposal, so you can live your life on this side of heaven in victory over evil.

You must daily walk in agreement with God and His truths so you won’t become blindsided by the evil one. He is sly and full of deception. He is known as the father of lies; see John 8:43-44. If you look with discernment and truth, you can see how his hand touches every part of society on earth. What God created for good, Satan has twisted and destroyed. Evil will do anything to blindside you into thinking that what you are seeing, eating, hearing, touching, or even smelling, is good and okay.
You and I are being lied to.
We do have a wake-up call that we can respond to so we will stop being blindsided by Satan. His name is Jesus. Go to Him. Talk to Him. Get to know Him by studying the Bible. Change your life, and obey the Bible. The Holy Spirit will then enter into your life and help you to stand strong so you won’t be blindsided.
You and are called to become pure, holy, righteous and redeemed.
The deception has been taking place ever since the escapade in God’s Garden between God’s creation and the devil. As time marches closer to Christ’s return to judge sin, Satan is getting bolder and he isn’t hiding anymore. Stop from being blindsided! You have a way out. Jesus is waiting.
