Despite the darkness that surrounds the earth, God provides a light that can penetrate the darkness. This light is piercing and forthcoming. Nothing can stand in its way. This light is the vehicle that God uses to reveal the way out of the darkness. The vehicle of choice to redirect man away from the darkness is His own Son.
God sent Jesus as the White Knight to rescue you from the darkness of sin.
While you know that Jesus is the Savior of the world, what else do you know about this Knight in shining armor? He is more than the resurrected Savior. Let’s take a look at Hebrews 1-2 and let’s become more intimate with Jesus. God gave Jesus a direct message to give to you that will help you to evade the minefield that lays before you in the darkness.
The minefield is Satan and his demons. A great spiritual battle is going on all around you. He will distract you so you will drift away from the Light. He is very cunning, sly, and will flat out lie to deceive you. His tricks are subtle, yet productive. Become aware of His ways, and follow the very words of God instead.
From these chapters in Hebrews, God speaks to you through Jesus. So, it is best to learn to listen and recognize God’s voice. You learn that Jesus is the real deal, and He truly is the King of all kings.
God created the universe through Jesus and gave Him everything as an inheritance. Jesus radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God. He sustains everything by His mighty power. He is able to cleanse you from your sins. He sits in the place of honor at God’s majestic right hand. He is greater than the angels, and His name is the greatest there is!
There is nothing on earth that compares to Jesus; nothing comes even close! You are truly in good hands when you follow and obey Jesus Christ.
Jesus is God’s Son. God revealed Jesus to mankind as a tiny baby in a manger. He became like you (and me). All of God’s angels worship Jesus. This is because He is a big deal and you must take notice! While walking with Jesus, you are tended to and cared for by angels. They are called to serve you while you are in the darkness of this world.
Jesus has an everlasting throne. He rules from it. God anointed Jesus with the oil of joy. Anyone who follows God’s Son brings joy to the Father. You are well-loved and cared for by your Heavenly Father. Jesus remains forever and He stays the same. You can depend on Him to take care of you. Jesus battles the minefield for you and makes you walk in safety.
Because of Christ, you must listen very carefully to Truth or you will drift away. Satan will see to it that you do. The message from God will always stand firm so rely whole-heartedly on it. God will not tolerate sin. Be careful to not ignore your salvation that is right in front of you. God will confirm His presence to you so you will keep believing, trusting, and relying on Jesus.
Listen and obey for there is no other way!

This White Knight thinks about you. He cares about you. Because of His love and shed blood, God crowns you with glory and honor. In Christ, you are made complete. “By God’s grace, Jesus tasted death for you.” 2:9 Jesus is the perfect leader. Through Him, all of mankind can receive salvation.
While you are flesh and blood, Jesus became flesh and blood. He did this “to break the power of the devil.” 2:14 You now have the power to shut down Satan yourself. He has to stop distracting you because of the name of Jesus.
This While Knight is here to help you. You have all you need with Jesus. He is merciful and faithful to be everything that you hope and long for. He will truly sweep you off your feet and carry you home to be with Him forever. Jesus will never leave you, nor forsake you. His love never wanes, and He will remain committed to helping you become who God intended you to be. Use His name and defeat your enemy.
He is worth your time in pursuing Him. He is worthy of your willingness to humble yourself and repent of your sins. His worthiness will transform you beyond anything you can imagine for He is the White Knight who rescues sinners and redeems them to Himself.
You are in good hands friend. Go to Jesus.
