I love the book of Isaiah in the Old Testament. While you see the unlovely side of sin, more importantly, you see the love and hope that God offers to every sinful man. You see over and over how God is the One you can rely on. Isaiah 43:1-13 reveals why you can fully trust and depend on the Living God to take care of you.
God gives you an undivided, personal hope that will elevate you from dead in sin to alive in Christ!
Every believer must learn to listen to God. You see this throughout the pages of God’s Word. Why should you listen? From these 13 verses, look at what He does for you:
1. He created and formed you in your mother’s womb for a wonderful purpose while He has you on this earth. He places worthiness within you. You matter to God.
2. Through Jesus, He ransomed you from the clutches of death because of sin. He took upon Himself your sins to save you. Think about this truth, God created you. Your birth came from a sinful lineage. Your default is to oppose His love. So, God relentlessly pursues you and helps you to believe in His Son. When you choose to follow Christ, your loving Father removes your sins and places Himself within you by the work of the Holy Spirit. All you have to do is allow God to lead your life from now on. Such a simple, transforming love.
3. He knows you personally. He calls you by name, even from your mother’s womb; see Isaiah 49:1.
4. No matter the difficulties you face, God is with you. You will not drown or be burned up. God will see to it that your troubles do not consume or defeat you. In Christ, you are victorious!
5. He personally leads you so you come to know this truth, “For I AM the Lord, your God, the Holy One, your Savior.”3
6. Sin has enslaved you. Jesus sets you free. You are precious to God, honored and deeply loved. Repent of your sins and let God change you from the inside out.
7. There is no need to fear for God is with you all the time!
8. God takes you from being His enemy to His beloved friend who serves the Lord. Sin separates you from God. You can’t help but not respond openly about the love that now resides within you.
9. God chooses you. He exchanges another life for you. You are to learn to trust and believe God. You are to understand that “I alone am God.”10 God takes you on a personal journey where you come to know that there is no other God; no other Savior. He is all you need.
10. God knows the past, present, and future of your life. He predicted your rescue. You were on Jesus’ mind while He was on the cross. Try to wrap your mind around that truth! He sent Jesus to save you. He proclaims your presence when you are proud to serve and follow Him.
There is no other god who loves you like the Living God!
From eternity to eternity, no one can snatch you out of God’s hand. No one can undo what God has done to save you. He is fully capable of leading your life. He will do a better job than you can. You are bound by time and space and a rather narrow viewpoint. God is not. You need God and He needs you.

A great wedding feast is being planned in heaven for the reuniting of God’s creation back to Himself. Sin will finally be taken care of and the greatest celebration will take place. You don’t want to miss out by simply ignoring God’s love today. He is calling you home my friend.
