God’s love runs deep for all of His creation. There is no greater love; read 1 John 4:9-10. His love completes us right down to our cells! We need nothing more than the presence of God in our lives. He completes us.
While God does His part in helping us to find our way to His Son Jesus Christ, we must be diligent in seeking our way to Him. He makes it easy for every soul to find Him. Do you realize just how close you are to God? 1. His presence is everywhere. Look around and see Him. 2. You are only 6-7 minutes from meeting Jesus. If you run out of air, that’s all it takes. It’s even quicker if you die instantly. All God has to do is stop your heart, and He can do it at anytime. No one knows when their time on earth will expire.
When God does come for you, are you ready? While God’s love for you runs deep, is your love for Him reciprocated? Here’s some insight that aids in answering that question (taken from Monte Duggar’s Instagram post):
Is your love lukewarm? Yes, you love Jesus, but you love the world also. It is time to pick your side NOW, Jesus or the world and stop having a divided heart?
Are you a backslider? You once walked with Christ, but your uninterested in going deeper. It is time to REPENT & COME BACK HOME.
Are you an unbeliever? You think you don’t need Jesus. Life is good and you enjoy life. “When I die, it will be what it will be,” you think to yourself. It is time to REPENT and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and follow Him wholeheartedly.
Are you a child of God? You have allowed Jesus to lead your life. Your life has become His and you walk obediently by the Holy Spirit. You repent of your sins daily, you seek God through His Word daily, and your heart and mindset are aligned with God’s ways. Stay encouraged believer, keep the faith for your redemption draws near!
Where are you? Be brave and honest and let God show you where you are. If it’s anything other than being a child of God, praise the Lord that you are only ONE CHOICE away from becoming His child. Acts 4:12 says, “There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.” In Matthew 1:21, “Jesus will save His people from their sins.” Read Matthew 13:1-23, Mark 4:1-20, and/or Luke 8:4-15 for a story that helps you identify the depth of your love for God.
Despite our flaws, rebellious sins are more like it, God sending Jesus to us is the most gracious, loving thing that He could do to give us a chance at escaping death row due to sin. Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Choosing to follow Jesus is the best decision anyone can make.

No matter the depth of your love, God will embrace you and help you to become a harvester for God’s Kingdom. He will deepen the love that is between the two of you. What He does not want from any of us is to have complacent faith or a shallow one. The sacrifice God made to save you and I is too great. He needs our undivided attention. By living this way, God’s Kingdom will grow vibrantly.
