Virtuous Living

We are all wondering and pondering what truth is amidst this pandemic that is plaguing our world. Our world is so noisy with everyone’s opinions of why this is happening and how we should be handling it that uncertainties robed in fear erupt around us causing chaos and distrust.

While we all are trying to make sense of this, we know one thing, God is in control! There has never been a time in history where God has allowed man to deter His plans. There has never been an event where God stepped down and told man, “go ahead and see if you can do better”. We will never see this happening!

This is good news my friends. No matter what we see and hear, we can rest and know that God knows what He is doing. This plague is not the first. It may be for this generation but it most certainly isn’t the first and I am here to tell you, it won’t be the last. We would be wise to do some history homework so we can remember and learn from those who have gone before us.

It is good to learn from those who have gone before us.
My mom had taught me much. I am forever grateful.

The best place to learn and grow in knowledge and wisdom is with the Bible. God cannot make it any easier for wayward man to find his way back home.

If you are new to my website, take the time to read through my blogs and learn how God made a way for us to be reconciled to Him. You will find some of the blogs are encouragements in how to walk with God as well as Bible study. Currently, we are studying the book of John. It’s a great book to begin in your journey of faith.

Unfortunately, we fight His way of doing things,“Step aside God, we can handle life on our own.Oh, how we want to do what we want to do without any restrictions placed upon us; thus, chaos ensues and mistrust is formed on all levels. Sin is our culprit. It runs amok causing blindness and deafness. What is disheartening is watching believers act this way.

Just a few days ago we celebrated the greatest event ever to take place for mankind, Jesus resurrecting from the dead! By His sacrifice, He swung the door wide open to let us come forth into the presence of the Almighty Father! The best antidote for this virus is Jesus. He takes us to God Himself. There, we will find all that we are looking for. He is the Physician who restores sight and hearing. He is the President or Governor who resides over the safety of His people.

So, how do we implement this antidote? We seek the wisdom from the pages of the Bible. When we believe, we become different. We become a people of peace and unity. When we align ourselves to the truths being spoken by the Holy Spirit, our souls come alive with a passion like no other. Our world would be a very different place if we all would say yes to Christ.

I also learned from these two in my life. My sister Chris and my brother-in-law
Stan. I would spend my summers at their house in New England. God
interconnects us together where we learn from each other.

God begins implementing the antidote in each of our hearts. We can only change ourselves. When we allow God to sift our hearts and remove the weeds of worldly ways from it, we become a catalyst. A catalyst that brings about healing and hope. We become a people of virtuous living.

Let’s make the most of this time and be students of the Word. Let’s be a people who call on God first. Let’s keep our opinions out of the way. Remember, God does not need our help. He is capable of running His show. All He asks of us is to trust and obey. And pray for those that He has appointed to lead us. God will bring forth good from this virus. Why? Because He is good. He is loving. He is faithful. He has always maintained control. He won’t let man destroy what is His. Ever.

God has brought forth what He has planned from the beginning and He will continue to do so. What is on His agenda? Jesus is returning to bring His people home. Are you ready for His arrival, whether by the physical death of your body or by meeting Him in the air along with other believers? Read Revelation 22. God is with us. He is enough. Let’s trust and heed His direction. He will unite us in love.
