When you choose to follow Jesus something wonderful happens. You receive nonstop counsel from the Holy Spirit. If you take the time to learn and listen, you will find that God is forever by your side helping you navigate the days He has given you.
When I look back, I cannot recall a time where God was not with me. Whenever I look and listen, I find Him to be active in my day. Some days I have to look harder to see, but when I take the time to truly believe that God is with me, I see Him clearly.
God is always where you are.
No matter what circumstances you find yourself in, know with certainty that God is with you. You know rather well that life on this side of heaven is hard. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, is tainted with sin. The only thing you and I have that isn’t is the presence of Jesus Christ! Thus, God sent Him down to save us from this sinful world, a rebellious adversary, and ourselves. Yes, you need saving from yourself.
God will reveal Himself more clearly to you when you take the time to understand who the enemy is and how he operates. While it’s wonderful to believe the love of God, without an understanding of the dark world that you and I live in, you will walk with blurred vision towards God’s Kingdom. It won’t become the most important thing in your life. You will focus on things that are tainted by sin; thus you will be led in the wrong direction without even realizing it.

When you take the time to truly believe, God gives you promises from His Word. He wants you to take them seriously as you listen to the Spirit. God’s promises will keep you moving forward by faith. They give you hope that God will never leave you nor forsake you; see Deuteronomy 31:6,8, Hebrews 13:5, and Genesis 28:15.
Abraham and his family took the time to truly believe. While God tested them with years of waiting which led to wondering what He is doing, they never stopped believing what God told them. Read Genesis 25-28 and take the time to learn and then listen what God wants you to know from it. Notice how life was not easy, yet they chose to believe God over their circumstances.
You are called to stay the course and keep believing what God has revealed to you.
Where does God have you waiting and wondering? The best place to remain is in His Word. Look for His presence. Pray to Jesus and ask for Him. Think about this truth: Jesus came to die and resurrect from the dead so you can live in His presence. The adversary is keeping you from Him. Satan will lead you to worship God’s creation but not the Creator. Don’t make this mistake, like many are doing; read Matthew 7:13-14.
Take the time to truly believe. God will keep you in His care and He will transform you into the image of His Son day by day. As a child of God, you will not remain the same. God’s love upon you cannot keep you doing the same thing each day. He will change you and it will be wonderful.
